On Hwy 33 about 20 minutes from Kelowna is Joe Rich, a rural community in the forests and hills east of town. Most homes in this area are custom built on acreages or bigger lots. It is a great location for horse owners and those that enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.

Amenities for Joe Rich neighbourhood are found in the shopping district of Rutland along Hwy 33 and Hwy 97. Just down the road are great local attractions include Okanagan Adventure Park in the summer, snowmobiling in the Greystokes area in winter.
