Some of the best wineries in the region are found close by with Mt. Boucherie Estate Winery, Quails Gate, Mission Hill Family Estate Winery and Volcanic Hills Estate Winery among a few. There have also been new wineries popping up like Frind Winery, Black Swift Vineyards, and Crown & Thieves. It is also just up the hill from Okanagan Lake, the West Kelowna Yacht Club and Shoreline Park. Several high end resorts are also in the area and take advantage of the incredible lifestyle this area has to offer.

The area features spectacular golf courses like Shannon Lake Golf Club and Two Eagles Golf Course. Residents also enjoy Gellatly Heritage Regional Park, its a local favourite. Telemark Nordic Club‘s cross country and snowshoe trails are also an excellent winter activity and just minutes up the road on Glenrosa drive.
